Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Ivy Live has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page sets out what we prohibit, how anyone can report it, and what we do when we find it.

Our commitment

Ivy Live is a social platform for adults. Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) — any content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses or endangers a child — is forbidden everywhere on it, without exception and regardless of intent, framing or artistic claim.

This standard applies to every surface of Ivy Live: posts and replies, direct messages, video channels, images and video uploads, profiles and usernames, NFT listings and collections, the prompt marketplace, games and any other feature we add.

You must be 18 or older to use Ivy Live. Accounts we determine to belong to a minor are closed.

What is prohibited

The following are banned and result in immediate removal and account termination:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any visual depiction of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct, including photographs, video, drawings, animation, and computer- or AI-generated imagery
  • Sexualisation of minors — presenting a child in a sexualised manner, including edited, filtered or "aged-up" depictions of real children
  • Grooming and solicitation — contacting a minor for sexual purposes, or attempting to arrange sexual contact with a minor
  • Sextortion — threatening to publish intimate imagery of a minor to coerce them
  • Trafficking and facilitation — advertising, recruiting, or arranging the sexual exploitation of a child
  • Signposting — links, usernames, hashtags, coded terms or instructions that direct people to CSAE material anywhere, including off Ivy Live
  • Trading — offering, selling, buying or trading any of the above, including as an NFT, a paid video, a paid prompt or a direct message

Discussing child protection, survivor accounts, journalism and research are not prohibited. We separate these from abuse when we review a report.

How to report

In the app. Open the "…" menu on any post, comment or profile, choose Report, and select Child safety. It is the first option in the list. You do not need to leave the app, and you can add a note describing what you saw. Reports filed this way go to the top of our moderation queue.

By email. Write to support@ivy.live with "Child safety" in the subject line. Use this route if you cannot access the app, if you are not a registered user, or if you are reporting on behalf of an organisation.

Please do not download, screenshot, forward or re-share suspected CSAM in order to prove it to us. Doing so is itself illegal in most countries. Send us the link, username or post reference and we will retrieve what we need.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

How we respond

Reports flagged as child safety are treated as our highest priority and are reviewed ahead of all other categories.

When we confirm a violation we:

  1. Remove the content from Ivy Live and stop serving it
  2. Terminate the account and block the operator from re-registering
  3. Preserve the material and associated records in a restricted system so they are available to law enforcement — we do not simply delete evidence
  4. Report to the relevant authority in the applicable jurisdiction, and cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement
  5. Review the account's other content and contacts for related material

We act on credible information from any source, including our own review, trusted organisations and law enforcement — a user report is not a precondition.

Content that is referenced on the blockchain

Parts of Ivy Live are built on the Kaia blockchain, a public network we do not control. Where prohibited material has been referenced in an onchain record, we cannot alter that network's ledger. What we do instead is remove the underlying content from our storage, delist it, and block it from every Ivy Live surface — so it is no longer served, displayed, searchable or purchasable through Ivy Live — and we report it as described above.

Compliance with law

We comply with the child safety laws applicable in the jurisdictions where Ivy Live is available, and we cooperate with valid legal process from law enforcement and child protection authorities.

Designated point of contact

Questions about these standards or about our CSAM prevention practices — from users, researchers, child protection organisations, platform partners or law enforcement — can be directed to the Ivy Live child safety contact:

support@ivy.live (subject line: "Child safety")

We aim to acknowledge enquiries from authorities and child protection organisations within one business day.
