Ivy now runs on Kaia. The network move required a new token. Allocations for every IVY holder in the 15 August 2026 snapshot were written on-chain at a 1:1 ratio, and claiming is now open.
The old Ivy was a token living on BNB Chain. The social side was a classic web2 app: posts in a database, likes reduced to a number, identity a row in a table. The chain was somewhere out there, but it was not part of daily life. Token on one side, product on the other.
